PC (left) and Cubby (right) are the Animal Control shelter cats.
The Animal Control Division is composed of one Animal Control Supervisor, four Animal Control Officers, and one Animal Shelter Assistant. The Animal Control Division provides enforcement of the City's ordinances on animal control. They work to balance health, safety, and welfare needs of people and animals. The Animal Shelter is a City owned and operated facility. It provides housing and other shelter services for Gillette and Campbell County on a cost-sharing basis. We no longer accept personal checks.

All dogs & cats over 3 months of age must be licensed per City ordinance. Pet licenses are sold at the Animal Shelter.

Kennel and Cattery licenses can only be purchased thru the animal shelter. Form must be validated & fees paid at the Animal Shelter.
