Public Works Administration 

Public Works Administration provides leadership and management to the Public Works Department, which consists of the Parks Division (including Forestry and City Pool), Streets Division, and Solid Waste Division. The director leads a staff of approximately 35 full-time personnel plus an average of 40 seasonal staff.

Parks Division 

The Parks crew plans, develops, and maintains over 30 City parks & beautification areas, and operates the City pool. This division also manages the Adopt-a-Planter & Adopt-a-Street programs. The City Arborist manages the Urban Forestry program. The Parks Superintendent serves as staff liaison for the Parks & Beautification Board.

Streets Division

The Streets crew maintains City streets, which includes patching potholes, sweeping streets, de-watering wells, cleaning drainage systems, mowing rights-of-way, and snow & ice control during winter. The Streets crew also organizes the City-wide Spring Cleanup.

Solid Waste Division

The Solid Waste crew manages all residential trash needs within City limits and the summer Yard Waste program.
